Amethyst Health Center for Women is a private center with a warm and friendly atmosphere where we are with you every step of the way. HIGHLY REFERRED by area doctors and hospitals. Since 1989 we have been providing women's health care in Manassas, Virginia.

Our goal is to provide you with solid information about the abortion procedure you are requesting. It is important that you know and understand important facts and details in order to give an informed consent.

The objective of a counseling session is to give you an opportunity to express and understand your feelings about your pregnancy and the decision to have, or not to have, an abortion. We want to determine, that this is really your decision and that you are not being pressured in any way to end your pregnancy.

The Doctors, Nurses, and Counselors will do their best to make this as easy as possible and support and comfort you in a warm, calming atmosphere. We have a multi-lingual staff that speaks English, German, Spanish, French and Dutch.

As a women's clinic we have to comply with strict standards and regulations set by the State Health Department and other organizations. We could be inspected by these organizations unannounced at any time. Our lab is certified.

Our center is built in accordance with building code and fire for surgical clinics. You may ask yourself, "shouldn't all clinics comply with these requirements?" Unfortunately, the answer is no. It is up to you to educate yourself and find the best place to serve you.
